I just picked up a 1963 fj45 SWB fixed top model LC. Both of the rear windows are missing and from what I have researched, I have a better chance of wining the lottery than find a good used set with gaskets. I had an idea though.

I am wondering if I took a set of the rear sliding windows out of an 80 series to a glass shop to get them cut to fit the 45 window. Might even be able to find a way to cut the 80 gasket and make it work to get them installed in the window.

I just came up with this idea and wonder if anyone has tried something similar. I have a set of 80 series sliders and will do some comparison tomorrow. I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions on the idea.

Hate to say it but fixed top rear windows are very unique and have very special weatherstrip, anything is possible, but no one has reproduced any yet due to cost.

Yeah that is what I gather from my research. That is why I am looking for an alternative.

not stock looking, but you could make it a fixed window, have the glass cut to fit and use whatever rubber will fit and work.
