I wouldn't be surprised if you put some bulbs in those taillights and they worked.

Front half of the floorboard is in decent shape (last pic is mostly dirt. Ran out of quarters)

Wow! You sure have your work cut out for you.

Very true; I'm going to stare at it for a few weeks before I decide what I will do with it. I would LOVE to keep it stock and just do a "resto-mod" and make it a decent weekend driver, but I'm going to need a lot of motivation. The other plan would involve Dana 60's, the 7mgte I've got in the shed, and lots of DOM tubing.

Some more pics I didn't get up last night. The bed.

Thanks! I just read your build thread, and that is the ideal way I'd like to do this one. My buddy had a Krylon Khaki 69 model and I always liked that color on it.

That looks like a fun project. If you need any help with the carburetor just let me know. They are pretty simple.

Did that used to belong to a guy that works at NAPA? If so, I'm sort of kicking myself for not checking it out when I heard about it about a year ago. LOL.

It's a pretty close match to the factory dune beige, just cheaper ;). What's your plan for the rear half tub? Patch with sheet metal or find a tub/half tub? Depending on your budget/schedule, you can find some for sale from time to time

Yes that is the one. I've been talking to him about buying it for almost 2 years now too, but between him lollygagging and never geting me some pictures to see if it was even worth looking at, and assuming he wanted way more than I wanted to spend for it, I never pulled the trigger. I actually took his place at NAPA, so now I'm the guy at NAPA with the Land Cruiser :D

I plan for this build to be as cheap as possible (unpossible), so it will likely all be fabbed. I may cut up a mini truck bed floor from my 83 and use that for the patch panel. Luckily everything on these trucks is semi flat so patching rust holes is no problem. I do need to get a smaller welder though.
