Anyone with this combination unhappy with the way it looks (from behind)? I’m switching soon from 33x12.50 tires to BFG KM2s in the 10.50 width... since the 12.50 width seems to line up with the flares, I’m wondering if the slimmer tires might look too tucked in because of the flares if this makes sense?

Any thoughts or pictures on this I’d sure appreciate!

33x10.5 KM2...they do tuck inside the flares, though it's not excessive.

Other part of my switch are the Steelies I’ve been restoring... they are nearly finished and my Queen has given the green light for the new tires so I sure need to be certain about this

You need to be certain about what, your choice on the tires, or your reliance on a queen for the permission to purchase them?

Forgive the interruption, but what’s the point, why very many have rear fender flares and still stock width front fenders? The tires stick out as much in front than in rear.

Ha.... that there’s 2 very good observations!

1. Certain about the tires themselves...
2. Queens do change their minds (I’ll get them regardless but would rather it not be “fuss ammunition” :grinpimp:

I started with wider tires then went to 10.5. I wouldn't put them on again.

Thanks men... This answers my question - I’d never given the flares much thought until now - wish PO hadn’t hacked up the quarters; think the tires would look some better with clean wheel wells but water under the bridge now...

Appreciate the input

Hope you just happened to have this photo and didn’t go out and take it today for this thread! It was 80* here today :hillbilly:

When I went from 8" wide spokers to stock steelies I thought my butt looked too big. I removed them and like the look better now. Before and after pics. Got em backwards. After and before pics.
