I finally got around to pulling the front wings (fenders) off the truck for a respray, and there's a bit of damage that I need to fix.
It looks like someone has bent the inner edge (everything in the yellow loop) rather aggressively outwards towards the wheel in order to access something (steering box??).
You'd think that it was obvious where it needs bending back to, but apparently not (not to me anyway).
I'm struggling to find a good image of this area, except on aftermarket parts, which seem to vary from the original by varying degrees.

Firstly, I assume that there should be a fold along the red line, such that everything above it is coplanar with the edge of the wing, and everything below is coplanar with the triangular facet that I've marked with an "X"?
Secondly, the green line shows a fold line which i don't believe should be there at all?
Thirdly, the blue line currently folds the bottom tab out towards the wheel, but some images I've seen look like it should point towards the engine - which is right?

Maybe the images here will help, they are OEM fenders.
That's a great angle! Thanks very much!
I think I've seen virtually every other image of these, with every possible reason why it wasn't visible haha.
Seems like my assumptions are about correct based on this, so seems like it should be fairly straightforward with a bit of luck and a bunch of hammering
