Love that you've figured out a way to mount a 10" sub behind the panel, just not ready to buy yet.

Here's a
Thanks!

I was not going to mount an amp back there, I was and designed it for my electrical accessories. However, I am working on a second one that attaches forward on this mount and can be accessed by opening the pocket door.

The platform is 9" wide, 6.25" tall and 3" deep. , or it could be mounted to the back side as there is several inches before the body.

Here are several examples. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=mono amp&tag=ihco-20

My intentions were to install the amp under the passenger seat, I might even build a bracket to you don't have to drill through the floor. This allows me to install everything I need in the rear and the amp up front and easily accessed.

Here's a couple that would seem to fit.

When I first saw this I was like, "meh..." And the. I read the thread and went, "I need it!" Nice work. I was hoping to keep my 12" for my stereo project but even the shallow box I have for it sucks. Anyone bought this yet? Anyone loaded it with a sub? The 80 is a big truck, a lot of space to fill and I'm a sound snob. My heavy metal and NPR needs bass. Lots of delicious bass...:steer::rimshot::beer::rainbow:

Ordering mine today - are they in stock Shane ?

How will it sound without a box? My understanding was that subs wouldn't do much unless in some sort of enclosure, sealed, ideally; but at least a ported box to offer some air resistance. Otherwise the sub is just shaking back and forth with little to no accuracy. I very well may be wrong about this, so please forgive my ignorance, I'm just playing devil's advocate. In all honesty, I'll probably order one of these just because I've forgotten what bass is in my 80 and anything is better than what I have. haha.

Not in stock, next week as I need everyone that wants in for the group buy to get in. I have all the hardware ordered and boxes coming. It's a lot bigger than you think.

Thanks again!

Designed to run a shallow mount Free-Air sub. These do not require an enclosure to rattle your screws loose. ;o)

Just put in an order…

How much room is there behind the bracket for the sub? I want to make sure the subwoofer that I get will fit...

Very cool now if we could get the non cubbie panel from a rear air equipped truck.

6251060600E1 is oak color
625106010003 is gray color.

I may have the color/numbers switched. I bet a contact in the UAE or similar could get a few salvaged panels.

Holy crap the new forum is, well NEW.
I took a few weeks off of social and forums and got a lot done, nothing on the 80 to report other than some new parts.

1- DEPO is no longer making the clear turn signals and I finally got my new ones in today from my supplier. So I will be water testing them for 24 hours and see if the quality is there.

2-Sub mount is finished, the accessory panel is two weeks away and will be an add on to the sub mount.

Will you be doing a group buy for both when the accessory panel is competed?
Up here we get shafted on shipping :)

Does "80sub" discount still work?

I wasn't, but now that you make the point, I should and will.
