In for sub mount .

I cant figure out what those bolts holes are for. My guess is for the rear retractable cargo top that is only MIddle East or something like that.

My thought, but there's none in the other side.

That's my top attachment point, so I'm hoping its not used in any model as I can't find it.

I think you are missing a huge opportunity here to use these locations as mounts for everything BUT another speaker. Everything from extinguisher to first aid to flashlight to whatever. Untapped market.

Excellent ideas. ;)

Thanks, AATLAS1X and CDan. I'm down for a sub mount.

I'm in for sub mount with small panel for accessories underneath!!

Clearly you work much faster than me: my oem mount is still sitting on my garage table waiting to be shipped to you! Ha!

Not faster, just had a huge block of time this weekend as I had many people helping out with other areas.

I'm back to banging my head at the PC

PS I thought it would be harder that it was. So no worries in the bracket.

I'm assuming the size for the cargo box area needs to be as big as possible?

Question is, to use the clip holes for attachment points or self tapping screws? I hate squeaks and rattles and want to retain the panel attachment points.

sub mount, etc.

interested in sub mount, and very curious about the platform - I've been considering building a half-drawer setup with a flip-top that could ideally be slept on top of. that I would def go for

thanks and great ideas! :thumbs up:

Could be for the 3rd row air where the clear duct work goes over the window.

I've been missing clips for awhile now and never noticed a difference. If you have to utilize one or two instead of drilling into panels I think it would be fine.

So, another thread when I get the two halves done? Offer 1-Speaker with small panel under speaker 2-additional mount for accessories Or 1-Speaker with small panel under speaker 2-additional mount for accessories 3-accessory mount with sub delete Also, what bolts into these two locations?
I had the big factory phone CPU in my LX that was bolting in that area. I kept the brackets for future use.

Id be interested in the sub mount with an accessory mount.

Ive considered moving to a 10" sub from my current 12" but if I can lose a box completely even better..And Ive been planning running heavy gauge wire for a rear Blue Sea fuse box and a mount for it would be perfect!

Any updates Shane? I'm gathering all of my components for the rear cargo area and this is the impetus.

BTW here is me wasting time trying to figure out what I want in that area and how I'm going to position it all. The idea is the utilize the door to mount all of the gauges and sockets and have all of the fuses and circuit breakers be right behind it so that everything is accessible from that little door.
