Rig update:
The spressoAIR OBAv2 prototyping process is done. I'm in the process of building a website and becoming an official MUD vendor. However I have 4 (four) spressoAIR OBAv2 kits, apart of the remaining kits from my initial build, available that will be discounted for interested parties. The specialty parts, brackets, pulleys, etc. will sell for $995.
I am providing incentive pricing on the 4 remaining spressoAIR OBA2 build kits with two options:
Option #1: Take the $245 cash discount for the OBAv2 kit ($995 - $245 = $750). Source your own Sanden, port adapters and serpentine belt.
Option #2: Take the OBAv2 kit for the regular price of $995 and get the new Sanden SD7 4711 air compressor, the intake/output head adapter fittings for the Sanden and the longer Gates Micro-V serpentine belt at no charge.
The spressoAIR OBAv2 is priced in the same ballpark as other belt driven on board air kits for other platforms; this is a first for the 2UZ-FE! Having said that its never going to compete, price point wise, with most electric air compressors; especially low end air pumps.
This set-up is for the folks that want/need ~10cfm all the way to 200psi (and above; 100% duty cycle rated to 240psi and rated at 9.5cfm to 240psi). It will inflate a 35" tire from 20psi to 50psi in under 90-seconds; that is with the standard schrader tire valves...monster type valves may allow even faster inflation). As well as supply unlimited amounts of air for any purpose...without taxing the rig's electrical system, etc. All via the serpentine belt.
PM me for full details.
The other project that got some traction today is installing the Marlin t-case gear reduction (low range) set. I happened to call Ben at Slee Offroad at the right moment, a month ago or more, and he had a Marlin gear set to sell me (very limited availability right now): Thanks!
More to come...
