I just spent the past hour on the phone with Toyota MDC (800) 622-2033 trying to order a Factory Service Manual for either an 89 or 90 FJ62. I just bought an 88 but read an earlier post that advised that the 88 manual will not cover everything and I will need part of the 84 Manual. Very confusing but anyway....Toyota only has the complete manual for the 88. The catch was that they say it covers the Chasis & Body from 81-87. But I have an 88. Everyone I spoke to gave me a different story and nobody could check on my order and the part numbers could not be checked by each group. FRUSTRATING!!! So I cancelled my order completely. I'm going to check ebay. They wanted $148.06 for Engine, Chasis & Body and Auto Trans. I asked how many pages and they said 300. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I would just get it off eBay (if you can find it), that is what I did and it was brand new, not a smudge of grease or a wrinkled page. Oh and it was about $60.00.

don't get the 1988 one, it is incomplete. Ask for the 1990 one and it'll have everything in one book.

Sorry for the late response, but YES, that is the correct manual.
That was a good price also.

Question, are the '89 FSMs complete as well, or just the '90? I have an '89 FSM but a '90 cruiser.
