I got in on the group but with @dbbowen and was able to pick my windows up a couple weeks ago from him. I got lucky because mine were in super good shape, especially compared to the set he ended up with. Had them blasted and powdercoated, all new seals and got them 20% ceramic tinted. Reused the latches that came with them but new seals/packing. Wasn’t going to try and install them until spring but what the heck. Took about an hour installing first one and half hour for the second.

And the whole reason (besides reaching the beer cooler without opening the hatch)…

Looks good! This has to be the number 1 dog mod for US 60s,

It's on my list so I can get more airflow to my dog's kennel,

Bumping this thread because....who's a good boy?

Actually considering going this route but can't decide between this (and chances of getting a rough set, etc) or new gullwings from Oz.

Perfect. Thats 3 haha. The windows themselves aren’t that expensive. The shipping is what sucks on them. I’ll save y’all’s names and give you a shout whenever dude actually sends them to me. I was thinking about rebuilding them and powder coating them before selling them. But it would make them kinda expensive after it was all said and done. Rebuilding them is pretty easy tbh

If it easy to sandblast and powder coat the frames at the same time. It's probably cheaper to do 3 at a time vs each person individually

Yeah that’s what I did to mine. I just dropped them off and they sand blasted them and powder coated them.

I need to pull mine out and refurbish them as soon as I can get my 62 parked inside. Going to be an expensive job though with all the seals and window channel needing replacement.

I'd definitely be in for a set. And I'd pay the extra clams for refurbishment, for what it's worth. Saves me 3 hours of driving. Thanks man!

haha no worries, ill reach out to yall once dude gets them pulled from the trucks in Australia and get them on the way here. I told him any time he gets a truck with the sliding windows in to just go ahead and send them over haha. I REALLY want to get a pair of the front doors with the flip out quarter windows but shipping on them is kinda absurd

The seals actually arent too bad from rubber seals australia, if you want i can order you a set while im ordering the windows?

Thanks for the offer, but at this point I don't have the money to spare and I would hate to have you order the set (I pretty much need all new rubber, including the spacers and the "fuzzy" lining for the silver dividers) and then leave you hanging if I can't pay for it. It's right now at the "I need to get the money aside for this but have to do other maintenance first" point.

Sure thing no prob, if anything changes just shoot me a pm, the kit that includes everything for both sides is like 205 bucks USD before shipping and comes with all of that stuff. If your center divider thing is still good and not corroded you can use the ones in the kit, if its corroded youll need the black one from the 80 series that was posted earlier in this thread. Youll still need to source the 3m black goop to stick it in the window hole in the body
