Footwells look a bit on the narrow side, but otherwise it's looking good. I love Greg's buggy, so I'm sure this one will be even better since it has a Toyota facade :D

BTW, I really like the expanded steel for ingress/egress traction on the lower tube. Good idea.

Yea i wish they could be bigger but honestly the passenger side is 1/4" from the header and the drivers is probably about inch away. I still might cut out some of the drivers side and give me a little more room but i am not exactly super tall (5' 9"). As long as i am happy then its fine...the passenger...well they can deal with whatever i give them. :D:lol:

Thanks for the props and hopefully i can bust it this week as i am going to Harlan this weekend (taking my brothers cherokee on 39's) and then will be at the beach next weekend. It wont be near as much bling as gregs with krawlers and ls1 but hopefully i can do Jims chassis justice.

I'm gonna call out a very small nitpick, but it sure pissed me off when I ran across this problem. It's those push-through black plastic mounts you used for the rad fans. They will soon wiggle around and hog out bigger and bigger holes in the rad fins. Of course, mine was a big rad and big fans, but it didn't take very long to make a mess outta my $$ rad.

Like I said, it's a small thing, but I'd hard mount that/those fan(s).

Of all the things people point out on any build, for some reason, that's the least listened to. Maybe it's because making mounts for fans is a PITA? I know it was on mine.

But you're absolutely right. I call those "zip-saws", and they will eventually cause a leak. Jim's buggy did recently.

Won't happen this year, and probably not next either, but it WILL leak eventually because of those.

Got some more done...pics... Slowly but surely...

Here is what i started with on the skid. This is just a peice of aluminum and then i attached at peice of 1/2" HDPE plastic (pretty much cutting board) to the this aluminum. Should work out really nice. Dont have pics of the finished skid but it is bolted on and ready to rock.
