i would be in for all fours 3" height. But my rig is a lexus chinook. Do I need to tell you the additional weight I will be running?

^^. There was a chinook on Expo that posted here, too, that I believe was running SS Flexi's.

Will try to find to confirm.

When I ordered, I specified additional weights and estimated distribution, and Shane sent what he thought best suited.

Not Flexi coils, but may have weights for comparison.

So a significant DS lean and rake. Tanks on "E", but dual battery isn't in, nor is spare.

May swap the rears back to see if it corrects. No DHP Grp 65s to be had, so may add weights for visual.

Whats a reputable suspension company/4x4 shop accross the states?

Frankies Offroad had some custom progressive rate springs made to his spec's for a while, and seems to be respected here for his suspension knowledge. It seems his supplier was flaky and quit offering his suspension package. Maybe he'd consider rep'ing?

Would want to discuss the GVW and weight bias with Shane.

I put the pig on a diet, one I intended to maintain, and ordered coils accordingly. They're familiar with heavier 80s, since the vast majority of the AUS variety are expeditionary.

Rides well, but the temporary shocks are unimpressive, to say the least. Trying to get on a lift for final shock travel specs.

I notice some of you are wondering about sagging. I've had 3" flexi coils on for 2 years now. Not from Shane but from the same spring manufacturer, which I think is Dobinsons.
I'm running with 12" shocks front and rear.
Mine where made to Autocraft specs ( 3" fully laden, so sit at 4" without winch/steel bar and with about 300lbs of crap in the back).
The trucks done about 18,000kms in that time, with prob 5000km high speed dirt corrugations, and 500km low speed full articulation crawling type stuff.
I've had only about 5mm (3/16") of settle in that time, and pretty much all that was in the first few drives.
The springs are nice and supple unladen, but carry the weight when loaded up.
I've no affliation with any one, just extremely happy with my choice.

Yah. Mine weighs just over 7,000 lbs with driver in it. :hillbilly:

Right now I have <insert unknown aftermarket JDM springs and shocks here> that were in it when I imported it. The springs are green. That's all I know about them. :flipoff2: Sway bar drop brackets were also there, as well as an adjustable rear track? bar.

If I load ~250 lbs in the back, it sags considerably.. to the point where I can stand outside the vehicle and notice the back bumper being closer to the ground.

When I imported it, I believe it sat about 4 inches lift. Hard to compare since I don't know anyone with a stock 80. It didn't have any armour at all... now it has sliders, 1/4 steel transfer case skid, rear bumper and front bumper. The front bumper weighs just udner 200 lbs by itself. It now sits with what I would think is a 3 inch lift.

Personally, I would want 5 or 6 inches of lift in my ideal setup.

Here is a picture of my rear right wheel well, with nothing in the trunk:

i need a set of 6" rears, i know he wanted 650$ isn bucks for a set of rears shipped, shipping was 350 in itself

Is anything happening with this? delancy, have you driven the rig setup how you wanted? Are these coils worth the $$?

I have the ability to distribute these, i own a classic/muscle car parts co. Here in Nor California...

I am interested in the 4.5"

I've logged several thousand miles on the coils, but not with the permanent shocks. Current limit full coil capabilities in both travel and ride quality.

Viable solution, and will guarantee they will not fall out at full extension of the OE radius arms, or links.

Great now of I can get them for under $600
