Wondering if anyone has ever found a solution for a problem I am having. I have the standard 3 bolt flange gasket connector under the drivers side of my custom build exhaust.

Fel-Pro Collector Gaskets | JEGS

I have used copper, aluminum, compressible, etc gaskets and have used standard and mechanical locking bolts here but no matter what the joint seems to loosen up over time.

I am guessing this is due to the joint not flexing enough or ?

Wondering if there is another solution that can be fit in this space that would allow more flexibility of the joint over time? Just looking for other solutions than having to replace the gasket every 6 months.

Thanks! Noah

Have a pic of the location? I'm having trouble visualizing what we are dealing with.

it's raining like crazy right now out there, basically right now it is just the 3 bolt collector gasket connecting the stock downpipe to the rest of the exhaust. A 3 bolt standard collector flange to a 3 bolt collector flange. It just keeps loosening up. I think I am going to try a flex joint. Looks like the summit one I can install there by just cutting off the collector ends and clamping everything together.
