Just found out that my right engine mount is wasted! Just after one year!! How can that be: stiff front suspension? Or due to the nice roads here in South America?

We are in San Pedro de Atacama and will drive to Calama on monday to find out how to find a solution.... No Canadian friend visiting us this time.... :-(

Anybody any thoughts about 3B engine mounts being two different ones? I think we got two of the same things last year... This also could be the fault for breaking it?

We spend some time at the Automobil Club in Calama, where I could finish some jobs myself. Big thing this time being the engine mounts. Again! I just changed them last year november. Toyota told me I had to wait 20 days for a plane from Japan. So I shopped around and found a guy that does revulcanisations of mounts...!! Very interesting. I could choose my desired strength, absorption and stiffness. 1 day and only 15 euro's per piece... instead of 90 euro's from Japan!!! After installing we drove the Sud Lipez and Tito geysers. They are still intact. So the Asphalt of Argentina it is going to survive for sure...
