I recently brought a SOA 55 , A real 4x4 (selling my 4x4 2011 Tacoma ) I like it just as it is !
But I need it to be a little easier to get in to it ? So I"m thinking about Electric side steps ,
I believe i can do the modification , I"n thinking it should look good , and still be able to wheel ?
Whats your 2 cents ?

No... not 100% certain, but darn close... not built at all for that purpose... but they tuck up really well if installed correctly..

But if you drag them across the rocks, they won’t operate for long.

You could build a set of custom sliders that mount the steps and protect them when not deployed.

I'm noticing that it's not as easy getting into a SOA Pig as it used to be...
I bet you could mount them electrical sliders and then armor them up just fine.

I feel you. I ruined a few pairs of shorts since installing lift. I just picked up a pair of side steps to install on mine.
