I would think if they had a truck w/bows and an original top to pattern and an order for 10 tops all the same style with only color being different they would welcome that...
They could just do a normal side window and the metal rings can be added later
I sure am glad i bought one of the first few he made! $ 600 shipped with extra material for doors !I heard he has done some troopy tops and would kill for one of those? How can there not be anybody else in the us to produce these?
Whitey, I'll meet you there.I was blown away when Jim started having problems, i ordered a top , paid and had it in 2 weeks, nice pleasant transaction! It fit my factory bows like a glove! Couldnt be more pleased! On a side note Georg and i found an fj25 on a farm and the owners used it to tow wagons with, i think it was a 59, (round speedo), anyway the owner goes in the barn and pulls out the factory soft top doors!! Mint, and asks if we want them !!! Free !!! Georg snapped them up! I wonder if that 25 is still on the farm? Its in central california off hwy 5. Oh and it was rust free.
going back to the color issue of the tops.... I know for a fact they had a dark blue top... police tops... do not know how far back they go... I have a picture someplace... but... know its not an early top
too bad the parts books don't specify the tops
