Maybe the same place you got those sweet half doors from?

I like Metaltech 4x4 stuff myself, but there are a number of vendors here on Mud.

They do not make one that will work around the factory jump seats that i'm aware of. Ive heard there are other off road vendors that make them, figured here would be a great start.

Thank you pjohnson'

I hunted for a drop in solution, without success. $OR makes some brackets to space the seats out from the standard roll bar location. An OEM or other aftermarket cage will work then, but some reported issues with appropriate seat support when down and in use. Several posts out there with different brackets and placement of the footings, all custom. Apparently there was one year (73) with long seats and an OEM roll bar. There is a thread about it, but trying to find one of those would be a challenge.

Some folks have cut the seats down to fit. Please don't do that to a nice vintage set like you have. I have a set of small jump seats I'd happily trade to prevent that.

Nice looking 66

Location is a killer as I'm in AZ. I have a old period correct Smittybuilt I bought from Man-A-Fre back in the seventies and both style of spacers used for spacing the jump seats in.

I have a free, what I believe to be made by Smittybuilt, roll bar in North GA. I was in Cleveland NC last weekend and could have brought it to you.

That is very generous of you and i greatly appreciate it, i would be happy to come out and take it off your hands. Where about are you in North Georgia? I could come soon for sure.

would you mind sending a picture?

Sorry I forgot about the picture. The one that is offered to you is the same one I have. If you have any questions on how this mounted you can message me. Few more pieces needed but nothing special. Same pieces of angle iron and flat metal. I installed the why it was suppose to be which includes drilling holes in the top of the tub. Did this in 1974. In 1975 I slid off a icy road and cruiser flipped on it's side. I ended up replacing the hard top but only part that was badly damaged we the right side panel. Even that I was working on fixing when I found a hard top for a fraction.of what my insurance paid out was. I'm sure without the roll bar I would have damaged more including the windshield. Worth doing it right.

I am in Dalton. I can pull the roll bar padding off today and shoot you some more pics. It took me all of 5 hours to get to Cleveland. I may be able to get it to Athens GA in about three weeks if that helps.

I’m looking for an early style roll bar similar to above for a 1970 1uz swapped FJ40 I’m finishing up with, if anyone here has one or knows where I could find one, thanks!
