On a 1968 FJ40, what do the driver and passenger seatbelt bolts anchor into? Threaded inserts in the tub floor? Big captured nuts?
When I reach under the tub beneath the seatbelt bolts, whatever they are anchored into is inside a tubular cross member. Can’t find a drawing. Only have a bolt head inside the passenger tub.
Worried if I start to remove seatbelt bolts and end up confronted with a spinning bolt with inaccessible bottom fasteners.
Any illuminating thoughts?
Thanks,
Chip
