I believe that distributor was used up to the transition point in 1959 it is more Delco than ND. Trying to find pics of a manifold for you, ran across this air cleaner which is original paper with no apron inlet . The generator is a Delco.

Another question. My 58 has a tin cup on one master cylinder and a metal screw cap like the one in the photo above on the other. Is that correct? I have seen on early 60's trucks they appear to have tin cup master cylinders on both with breathers on top

The ones above are FJ25 cylinders, brake and clutch were the same casting, tin cups were common bolt on replacements.

Also not sure how to translate the date codes.
First digit is the last digit of the year, the middle letter is the month (A = Jan, through L = Dec), third (and fourth if any) are the day of the month.

My carb is 3A3 - January 3, 1963. While most of the plate has faded to gray, you can see in corners and such that it began life blue.

So the carb on my 1958 looks correct? It is 7B7 and has a blue plate.
So, 7=1957, B7= February 7th?

The front motor mounts on the F105 & F120 engines were bolted to the front of the engine at the timing plate location (It was a like a big steel plate) and not on the side of the block like the F135 and newer engines.

Like mine? That is how mine is mounted. The block matches the data plate.

What are the date codes on the carburetor.
Saw your old thread, do you have any idea where to find that blue plate for the single barrel carburetor? IVe got one that is missing it and I would like to get back to original as much as possible, any help would be much appreciated
