Here's the original on my 25. Let me now if you find more. I've never seen another one and had to modify a late 60's version for my 1962.

Archie / Jeff, I was scouring the photo archives but couldn't find a photo. I recall the original looking a bit different. Right angle bolted to the frame / rubber / right angle clamped to exhaust. Shop is all torn apart, but I've got one somewhere.

i'll try to remember to check annie tonight

Apologies for the less than stellar photo quality.

Lol. Three different years. Three different brackets.

I make no claim whatsoever that this is OEM. The only thing I know for sure is that this is what is currently bolted on my 1961 FJ40.

It is an interesting piece for sure. The space between the two metal brackets you see is comprised solely of rubber---that is, one piece of rubber bonded to the two metal pieces.

It's very interesting, my 59 frame doesn't even have holes in that location for mounting any bracket. Let's see what Jim @Cruiser_Nerd comes back with. I am leaning towards a similar mount posted by @Splangy since there is a hole in exact same location on mine.

From 25's I've recovered several brackets and rubbers like @nuclearlemon has. Never a complete one.

@Living in the Past grey 25 may have an original on it, just don't have a pic of that spot.

betting at least partially not oem. the ubolt doesn't seem like something toyota did.

It will be really interesting to figure out how original bracket looks like. It is certain that mounting location on frame has changed between the early years. Can't believe we are still uncovering new details for these early year cruisers.

I believe Ige's bracket is the correct one for the early trucks. Old red's style came out in 1966-1967. 1965 parts book shows early style and 1967 shows later style. I don't have the 1966 book to narrow it down further

Here is a really crappy pic, I've had two of these @nuclearlemon brackets on 1960's, can't find any pics of earlier ones.

And this crappy image from the late FJ25 parts book.

Grey one looks to have been replaced. Could not see Toyota installing what it has. The mounting bracket is only on one bolt of the U shaped clamp which wrong anyway. It's the only one I'm around until next week at the earliest. All my micro-fiche, FSM and books next week also. Can't remember if my early (61s) FJ40s either still have the original exhaust anymore. My white FJ25 has new exhaust run by PO. Another FJ25 has a 2F engine transplant. Never paid attention to what it has. Believe the chances of finding a original hanger for sale are slim to none.
