Remodel indeed! Im constantly trying to dream up the simplest / lightest system possible.
You planning anything for water? Hot/cold? Heating system?

You know… Im still not sure. Since it is my daily, I'm not sure how integrated I want water to be just because having it be super lightweight and simple is best day to day.

I definitely want to integrate a diesel heater now that we can hang out inside the truck.

I am working on the troopy with hydronic Espar. There is a deal on Amazon and I purchased one (almost 1/2 price). I can help you set it up for water to air and instant hot water. Do you have room under the rig for a big water tank? I am planning to make a 25 gallons tank for the troopy with a bit pre-heat so it will not freeze but also a heat exchange for instant hot water.

New shoes/ Stoked to be working with Nomad Wheel and Toyo Tires!

We went with the Nomad Wheel 503 Sahara (16x8 -10) and Toyo Open Country AT3 (295/75r16). The 295s are the PERFECT size for an 80 in my opinion.

Looks like a $1M, Bryce. I also use 295/75R16 on my 80. love them. For us, it's the perfect size. Wonder if these wheels are available for the troopy 17" 5X150.

I’ve begun the new interior buildout post-campteq pop top. Really excited for this one!

I had a spare sheet of 3/4in prefinished birch ply so I made a baseplate.

It had to be cut into two sections, so I’m order to make sure it’s completely flat, I made a plate from 1/4in aluminum. M10 x 1.5 bolts from McMaster.

Started construction on the buildout! I picked up sheets of pre-finished birch plywood (the campteq really came in handy to use as a roof rack) and started thinking through the layout!

Progress on the bench side of the buildout. Im staying away from drawers and trying to keep things as lightweight, modular, and simple as possible. I love using this shock chord as a way to keep things in the cubbies without needing room for latches or any hardware.

More progress on the buildout: Bench side is completed. We used Husky Knee Pads from Home Depot as the padding. Velcro stuck to the bottom keeps the secure to the carpet. The fridge is in! The National Luna power distribution is roughed in as well!

Utility Bench side of the buildout coming together. You can see the modularity with the aluboxes allows to a backup sleeping platform in the downstairs area if the weather / wind is insane. This side of the buildout will mainly be for utilities: compressor, power, etc.
