Drivers seat issues (1 Viewer)

My powered drivers seat is stuck in the upright position. Everything I see regarding seat issues is how to fix it from sliding back and forth (which mine does too) but not how to decline it if it is stuck. I'm not opposed to dropping new seats in it but it seems options are limited and don't want to spend the coin if I don't need to. I'm also 6'2" but the lack of leg room doesn't bother me as much as not being able to recline so once I fix that I'll address the sliding back and forth part. Or is it time for a new seat? Any help would be appreciated.

Have you applied 12V direct to the motors to see if they move? Possible your switch has worn out. It can be disassembled and the contacts cleaned. If your motors function with 12v direct to them the next issue is the switch. Here's my investigation into the passenger side.
