I bought one of these but it is not as tight a fit when attached.

I was able to get new zerk fittings at my local Ace hardware store. I don’t remember the thread pitch, I just took one in and matched it to one they had.

Anyone know the specs of the drive line zirk fittings? Wanting to find angled ones so I can grease the joints without having to remove the drive shafts first. Thanks
There are many options out there for different attachment styles, but just wondering why you would need to remove the driveshafts? I just spin the shaft until I can get the regular straight-on grease gun nozzle on there. Maybe the head on the end of your grease gun is bigger? Or perhaps our drive shafts are at slightly different angles - if that is the case, it would still be easier to jack one end up at a time and let the axle hang down more to increase angle access. Just some other ideas in the meantime.

Try these or similar
@Squash - how well does the needle adapter work? I could never bring myself to try one as I figured it would inevitably cause more mess than anything. The only way I could see that working well is if you remove the zirk first, and if you are going to that much effort, well... 🤷‍♂️

I can only grease 1 zirk with the driveshaft still on. I cant remember which now, but I do know it is annoying.

Now I need to go check today.

You simply poke the needle onto the little ball in the center of the zerk, push and pump.

You simply push the needle end onto the ball in the center of the zerk, push firmly and pump grease. Works pretty well and can lessen your frustration.
