Not a sales pitch, but with all the new 70 Series showing up here, a thread add with some basic info.

Our beloved 7X rigs have a challenged glove box. Our Aussie friends have easy access to an inexpensive solution - Doug's Tub. Makes a great truck-warming gift if you know a 70s owner. :)

Can Am brings these in from Melbourne and sells 'em at cost to the 7X community. Think of it as a group buy without the hassle.

If you are interested, have a look at our vendor thread and shoot me a PM. They are on the shelf in USA.

If you have one of these vehicles you NEED this tub. Before I got one EVERY TIME I opened the box junk fell out on the floor...

Did you ever consider you had to much crap in your glovebox? :moon:

It's not "too much" if you can shut the door on it.....:hillbilly:

Hell, without it, a single pencil style tire gauge is "too much" .....

Agree the neck snapping torque my 2H puts out under acceleration causes everything in the glove compartment to empty on the passengers lap. Doug tub rules the 70 series glove box. :)

When I accelerate in my 2H, the items in the glovebox either stay stationary or move slightly forward. :)

The Doug's Tub is a great accessory. After I got mine, I promptly filled it. It will hold a lot of stuff...

I was given one if these tubs about a year ago. I would have gladly paid for it, and that has been my opinion since the second i chucked it in the glove box. Highly recommended.

Damn it, I got all excited when I saw this thread - didn't realize it was 3 years old....

I should have one of these thrown into the package when I had a new ADRAD radiator shipped from Australia for my FJ73. :-/

Bhicks..... Can you 3d print these???? add to your cup holder offerings....

Any chance the Cruiser brothers can include this in the new inventory?

I could definitely use a few of these

Well, if 'yall want 'em, we'll get 'em.

Do us a favor and tell us how many you serial 70s owners might want.

Thanks.

Update a long time coming. Work has been kicking my butt, working on a project with china has me on china time these last few weeks and my whole schedule is fubar.

First off a big shout out to @wardharris and Georg @orangefj45 over at CruiserBrothers. These alternators are awesome and no more electrical issues. Installing was a different story. The old alty did NOT want to come out and had to be persuaded with a mallet and crowbar from all angles. Took about an hour and a half to take it out and 30 min to get the new one in

So pretty!

Ive been driving her all week and it has done wonders for my soul. Stress level is down and overall happiness is as high as it can get based on my schedule. I wonder if i can use it as a tax write off as a health benefit :-D

Again I want to thank Georg and Wade and the rest of the folks over at valley hybrids and cruiser brothers. They were professional and kept me in the loop even though we had a little bump in the delivery process. Looking forward to purchasing their brake and rotor kit to improve the slightly underwhelming braking on the old girl.

Ward,

Are y'all still inventorying these?

Need badly, or risk pulling out the last of the five hairs that remain.

Chris

As was I and similar sentiments.

In need of another, but have a general aversion to paying 2X product cost in freight or $75 for a $25 'part' in this case.
