Interesting. I've been looking at baja, might have to check out heretic. Have you been able to compare the two? I like the color temp of the baja but these look quality.

Really? not that I would condone such behavior but I know for a fact that both a 2013 and 2016 200 series on stock tires will do 130mph. We've had our race truck at 119 (gps speed) on 37s.

To answer your question. The mount with 2 holes is the Prinsu bracket. The bracket with the square slot (I had to invert it to reach the bolt) is the Heretic bracket.

Baja Designs is one light I don't have personal experience with so can't say. There will be lots of offroad lights in Mexico this week. Let me see if I track someone down and compare.

I had wicked side-to-side vibration on the prinsu prior to installing the rubber trim. I still want to lower the wind deflector another .25-.5 inch.
I used the Prinsu brackes (upside down) for my adapt, but i may rig up another bracket to the front bar like you did. Thanks for the pics!

After 5 days in Baja and lots of use I'm very happy with my Heretic light. No doubt it is dust and waterproof after the trip. I saw a lot of both.

New truck turned 100k miles over the weekend on my way to California. Always good when a milestone occurs on dirt. I'd been talking to @benc about a bumper for about a month. I found myself on what was essentially an ATV trail a couple of weeks ago which accelerated my purchase plans. During the course of our discussion I'd mentioned to Ben I'd be driving through Colfax. He reached out early last week and mentioned he might be able to get a bumper finished if I could hang out Monday they'd install it. I decided to have him powdercoat the bumper gray in an attempt to match my wheels. Very happy with the way it turned out. Slightly darker than the wheel but glad I chose not to do black. I opted for the 3x3 flush mount lights and the Come Up 12.5rs. I wasn't quite ready to pull the trigger on the winch but doing it now was the right move. Super happy with the way it turned out and can't say enough good things about Ben and his crew at Dissent. I have four 6" ARB lights sitting in storage that I hope to put on this week. I might have to grind the mounts every so slightly to get them to fit or use the rear mounting hold on their brackets. I'll figure that part out when it comes time to install.

I dug my ARB Intensity LED (using the full name for searching purposes) lights out of storage and got them mounted up. I had to use the rear bolt hole on the bracket and it's very cozy but they clear with the Dissent bumper. I got some OEM style switches from On Board Air and hoping the new 'light blue' matches well with the factory switches. Plan to wire them up this weekend.

I'm only through one full tank with the new bumper in my normal driving routine and so far i'm about half a mile less per gallon. I pay way too much attention to those things so I'm aware of my range when out in the middle of nowhere. Next mod will probably be a long range tank but for now I'll track the bumper/lights effect on fuel economy.

Nothing big but a couple of quick updates to the truck. I added hot power, using the ARB plug and some blue sea 12v connectors. Biggest thing I can add is that the Light Blue switches from Air On Board match very closely to the 2016+ interior color.

For the rear power I ran down the frame rail and up through the grommet under the step pad next to the middle row seat. Project maybe took 45 mins.

Been a while since I updated this thread. Added a few more items to the truck. Some of which may provide relevance for those searching and looking for info. I'm at 145k miles now so I've been using her quite a bit since I posted last summer.

I chose the ARB Summit rear bumper. I've had swing outs on 2 of my 3 previous LCs and as much as I enjoy the clearance, I also don't like the inconvenience. I sleep in the back quite a bit and haul my golf clubs back there and always opening the swing out gets old. My hardcore wheeling days are behind me so I'm fine with my spare tire underneath. I can fit a 285/75/17 in the stock location. The bumper is there to provide some protection but also look good. I was delaying purchase for a while but my factory bumper cover got trashed last fall. I ordered the bumper in December but with global supply chain issues it didn't arrive until May.

The Summit bumper is not made to fit 2016+ and there are a few obvious locations. Most importantly on fit, the bumper hits up against the spare tire brace. Oddly only on the passenger side. I'm not sure how the pre-16 tire carrier is different but I am hard up against it. Because of this the bumper will fit the bolt holes but also sits slightly rear of the ideal location. The tailgate BARELY clears when opening. I'm talking 1mm clearance. This is without bolting up the cosmetic piece that covers the bolt holes. My first trip I rallied pretty hard and the bumper slid back just a bit and the tailgate snagged upon opening. I have got it back and really snugged up the bolts and so far so good. Ultimately I'll pull the bumper and notch a gap in the bumper to get the bumper to slide farther onto the frame. It's crazy how much 3 or 4mm will make for fit. The profile of the rear quarter panel is obviously shaped to fit the earlier models and the gap if obvious. I'm really happy with how it looks and I've drug it once or twice so far and it's done exactly what I want it to do. I have a bit of a crazy plan for mud flaps but for now I installed the factory back onto the body and using a zip tie to attach them to the bumper.

I could probably take better pics but there area already plenty of them in the forum of the skids. However what I want to show is how the ARB Skidplates match up with my Dissent front bumper. @benc sent me his adapter plate back in February (I think) and I thought I'd have to do some modification to get the bumper and skids to work together. I had already installed the skids when the plate showed up. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics of the gap without the plate. (I may have but I'd have to go look). I could probably make this look slightly cleaner but trimming the top if the ARB skid but the fact that I was able to bolt this up and make it work in about 15 mins one day in the rain made it just about perfect. I didn't think I'd use the skids the way I did in the 3rd pic but it's a perfect segue into my next post.

Not the best photos but they'll illustrate the point. I have SPC UCAs and suspension description is in the first post of this thread. I am currently waiting on backordered BP51s but this something I'm going to have to address with bump stops, some sort of plated reinforcement, or maturity. Not sure that last one will happen. My UCAs, at full compression, are impacting the inner fender and punched holes through both sides. This is the driver's side below the brake lines. I did a quick forum search between conference calls a few months ago and didn't find many results for this same issue but perhaps others have had similar issues.

This decision right here took about 5 months to make. I've had long range tanks on my last 4 vehicles and I was torn on which LRA tank to run. My previous aux-tanks were between 22 and 42 gallons. Honestly the 24 gallon is the ideal size for me. However practicality and ideal are two different things. The bigger tank requires the rear tire get relocated and as mentioned above I was not super keen on the idea of a swing out bumper. The Summit bumper is cheap relative to all swing out bumpers. However all sub tanks from LRA are the same price. Thus it took me months to decide what to do. I finally settled on a 425ish mile range and a non-swing out bumper was the best balance of cost and real world usability for me. I've recently seen this tank installed in an HE and they had zero issues with the rear wiring connectors. I was really tight up against them. Simple solution was to pull them off the tabs and zip tie them up above the sub-tank. It was the only issue I had during install except one major thing. WATCH THE VIDEO ON THE LRA SITE!!!!! The written instructions (that came with my tank, I think they may have updated them since) are wrong. The large fuel lines in the kit were too small after I cut my factory filler necks too short. Of course this happened after all hose supply stores were close for the day, so it ended up being a two day project as I had to get more hose the next day. I've done about 5k mile since install and very happy with it. I didn't end up swapping out the LRA switch and going with an Air On Board switch to clean up the dash just a bit. If I had the larger tank I would have stuck with the switch/gauge but it's easy enough to listen for the pump to get loud to know when the sub-tank is empty.

Curious if LRA delivered the aux tank with a breather/breather line fix? The original parts used plumbing that had too small inner diameters, causing flow restrictions, and sensitivity to fuel fill-up speed.

Is this issue one that’s from older LRA’s or is this something that a newly purchased unit would experience?

My tank was ordered last summer for a customer of Cruiser Outfitters but then changed their mind so It has the same hose sizes. But per the last comment in that thread. My evap was chock full of silt. I spent 15 mins cleaning it out before installing my tank. I've had zero codes and fill at full speed. I'll keep an eye on it but so far so good.

So those with ARB rear bumpers (at least the Summit) will know that the OEM mud flaps don't really fit. I decided to take a different approach for my solution. I've had a very strong fascination for Dakar and after spectating in Peru and Saudi it's only gotten stronger. I opted to pay homage/make my own style of adjustable flaps. A cheap piece of mud flap material from an Semi-truck supplier, some hardware from Home Depot and couple of hours in a very hot driveway is all it took. To fully recreate the look I think they need to be about 2" longer but pretty happy with the result. I used one flap and cut it in half. If I decide to redo them I'll order two and cut them to the size I want. They are adjustable (sadly not in-cab like true Dakar mud flaps) and I found a way to dig up some mud in a very dry Utah and they seem to work quite well. Ultimately I want to find a way to close the gap (on the horizontal plane) between the bumper and the frame rail to keep as much mud out of the bumper as possible to minimize potential rust and lessen my time at the car wash after trips.

Considering I rallied pretty hard last night I'm happy to see the only dried mud up there is from my trip a few weeks ago to southern Utah. The new mud flap itself is coated with clumpy mud
