2) install 4 ball bolts. 2 on lid, and 2 on risers.
3) Make sure the top risers are straight with the bottom risers.
4) Place lid onto swingarm/risers in the closed position.
4) Install 2 bolts through the top of the lid to act as hinge points. Use a combination of washers and nylon washers in this order:
Bolt, nylon washer, metal washer, lid, nylon washer, riser, metal washer, nylon washer, nylock nut. Repeat for other side.

Just fyi, the crazy beaver also fits perfectly on the other side of the swingarm as you have it

With the shovel in the middle the shovel serves as a really good handle to help open or close the cabinet.

Just ordered my rear bumper and swing outs. Looking forward to joining the rear bumper club. I love the front bumper.
I did the same on Wednesday, so I guess I'm a couple slots ahead of you. Hopefully we won't be waiting long!
No front bumper yet -- my first priority is going to be relocating the spare so I can get a 40 gallon LRA tank under there.
(In fact I only ordered the tire swing out, because I'm still debating what I want on the other aide.)

You may want to get that other swing out order placed so it all ships together or else you will end up paying another freight shipping charge later.

Sorry no progress pics. It was actually quite easy so time flew by. Sure was nice lifting an aluminum bumper off then feeling what felt like double the weight putting it back on with the winch attached. Prob took 90 mins total to deinstall and reinstall. Wiring took substantially longer for everything as I did BD LP6's too. The pup tried to help but was more there for moral support.

I just tackled my install of a rear bumper this weekend. The PDF instructions are adequate but my #1 suggestion for improvement and to save future installers a headache is to install the parking sensors BEFORE you attach the bumper. The instructions don't address the sensors until the end of the install but it is much easier and more efficient to do this at the beginning.
I agree. The same goes for the trailer harness relocation. I was able to gain access to the harness after the bumper install by loosening the passenger side wing but it was an awkward process. The parking sensor harness can be replaced afterwards as well, but clipping in the sensors requires some creative and uncomfortable hand/wrist angles.
I'm very slowly working on a 3d printed box to sit outside the bumper to bolt the 7 pin harness to, instead of having it inside for that reason. I can unplug and replug the 7 pin pigtail and remove it without taking the bumper off, and I was concerned about the tight bend the wiring had to make around the rear crossmember and rubbing on it when it was inside.
