These are the BudBuilt slider steps that go straight out. I love them, but as @Taco2Cruiser hinted at awhile ago, for off road, flat (especially with a kick out) is just too much metal sticking out down low. I would encourage you to get BudBuilt's angled rock sliders with the kick out. My first day with these out on the trails had me wanting angles with a kickout. I went flat for toddler, wife in heels and my mother with a bad ankle, but other folks have said those situations are fine even angled.

Thanks, that is the feed back I was looking for. I've looked at that linked thread a good bit and have been on the fence, but pretty sure angled with kicker is where I'm going to land. Now to decide on infill, thinking daimond plate or dimples up, or even no infill at all. Thanks again.

And snagged a couple of these 5.11 duffles for recovery gear and spare parts. Already have two larger duffels with tools and a bunch of other gear and it all fits behind the third row even while setup for passengers.

Just over a year of ownership and nearly 10,000 trouble free miles...
I'm still feeling good about the build that I completed last October and I haven't felt the need to add anything else to the truck.
Recent Maintenance:
- Got around to touching up the sliders after last season's mountain trips. She's lookin good.
- 2nd oil change since I've had it. Learned my lesson last time to handle the oil change at home and not at the dealer.
- Cleaned air conditioning coils
- Changed engine and cabin air filters
- Rotated tires
- Checked wheel spacer torque
Upcoming:
- Grease drive shafts
- Diff and transfer case fluids
- Spark Plugs
- Coils
- Brake pads
