Alright guys , resurrecting old topics yet again, if anyone is willing I would love to see some pictures as to how y’all setup and routed intercoolers for their 4Bts or 6BTs… I’m currently trying to piece together a setup and am leaning towards the one from CX racing that mounts to the ARB bumper .

Mine was done like 12 years ago and I’d like to do a custom made Vibrant to replace the eBay one since I think it would dissipate heat more efficiently. It fits behind the stock grill, with a massive tranny cooler behind it, running oem radiator. Here is the size I have IIRC.

 
I added the hood vents probably 5 years ago. I don't have a build thread but I do have enough pictures I can probably do one.

If you check my thread out starting here on page 11, you can see how I did my intercooler and how I ended up having the piping ran. Someday I might change it to have the piping ran under the headlight instead of through the wheel wells, but I have had 0 issues with it how it is currently.

 
Replaced my HX-30 holset with the HX-30 super holset turbo last weekend.

Zero turbo lag. Immediate response. Factory setting for the wastegate is 20psi. This 46mm compressor wheel moves the air! I just got an adjustable elbow restrictor that will allow adjustment to when the wastegate opens. Need to also get more tubing for it but boy what an upgrade without going to compound turbos!
