Then there was this guy, Karen of the day.... Just had to stop me and tell me how I'm ruining the ice crystals on the trail. On the multi use shared trail.... How disrespectful I was to be riding on a shared use trail. I don't know what it is this year but I get harassed by a skier EVERY week I ride. Last week it bas a British twit showing me a wilderness posting that says no bikes allowed, when I was riding a multi use forest trail at least trail 2 miles from the wilderness....:bang:

enjoyed some beautiful wi yet weather today too! -10C with very little wind and bright sun. the kind of day you just gotta get outside! did a 12km loop. i haven’t ridden much this winter. dec and jan were uncanny busy at work and then we had two weeks of -50 wind chill. now that the weather has flipped i want to put some miles on this bike!! there some new fat bike trails not far from me i’ll have to go check out. i’ll yell at the skiers for you @on the rocks if i see any on the trails!! 🤣

LOL, all good, I don't mind sharing the trail, I don't even mind if someone has an educated opinion to stop me to tell me about what I'm doing wrong. Just don't get the hate for the bikes in the winter. This a****** started the conversation with asking me if I ride in the summer, I knew where he was going and I immediately answered "yes, and I will continue to ride through the winter too" He still tried to advise I stick to the summer riding. By then the only logical thing to do was to tell him to F*^k off and ride away.
I actually like the skiiers, they help pack the trail. I'm just not going to dodge their pristine ice crystal tracks to destroy the rest of the unpacked trail.

Next up is snowmobile trails, I can only imagine the hate I will get there too lol...

My daily rides have changed and will stay this way for the next 4-6 weeks. ☹️☹️

At least my legs work.
Nice to see your sticking with it. Don't let one setback kill your love for riding... Going down is all part of the experience lol. No battle scare, your not pushing hard enough!

i bike ski and snowmobile so i get every angle of it. i actually think it’s awesome when bikes ride snowmobile trails. that’s what i mainly do when i get the chance. i’m normally off in the tullies looking for deep snow on my sled anyway so they’re never in my way.

Nevermind -- just read back a little. I'm glad you're not dead. Was the hillside ok? I mean, you smacked it pretty hard with that hardhat 😂

Ride and “hike a tandem” today. I don’t advise hiking with a steel tandem. Hahaha
