Not a lot of info out there. I'm looking at a 2k LC with TRD badges, instrument cluster, shift bezel, body decals, etc.. But it's not black like the only other one I saw on ebay some time ago.

Does anyone have any details regarding the possibility this is a real 2000 TRD Land cruiser? What kind of things do I need to look for? I'm looking at it Tuesday, so I can look under the hood and see if the SuperCharger is there.

The supercharger was available for a very short time. They were pulled off the market because of connecting rod failures.

So, if it's got the supercharger....sounds like I should stay away.

Not necessarily, but just depends what your intended usage is. Also don't believe everything you see. Too easy these days to make something look like something it isn't.

Toyota nor any of their distributors (CAT, SET, GST) ever made a TRD Land Cruiser but $39 and the right part number will get you one like mine.

I bet the vehicle you are looking at in Florida has a TRD supercharger. The Supercharger kit came with two plastic decal/emblems which were usually placed on the Tundra (in this case LC) that had the supercharger. The wheels are late model Sequoia. I have seen this LC on line and it looks stunning. I think it was in Vegas when I saw the ad a few years ago.

Reminds me of the Toyota salesman when he saw my TRD Off Road stickers that I got from Amazon. He says "Nice, it has the TRD package".

I replied, yeah they are pretty rare. :)
