Hey gang –

The guys at DiamondRax finished the rack for my UJZ100 and got it mounted the other day. It looks and fits great! Very impressive fit and finish on the thing. We decided to allow an opening for the sunroof. The frame for that is in and looks terrific. The insert for it is due "any day now". These guys are great to work with and do very, very good work. I'm very pleased I went with them.

I'll get some pictures taken tomorrow and post them up here.

Ok - it's tomorrow now.

Let's see the pics!

Which tomorrow were you talking about??
Some pic's please!

To quote Lisa from My Cousin Vinny "My biological is TICKING!!!! (stomp-stomp-stomp)

Pics or it doesn't exist.
Really? Yeah, I'm making this up.

The weather was bad yesterday. The sun's out this morning though. Taking pictures today and, with any luck, will have them posted today as well.

Looks like one of those cheap surco type racks - hope it's better made.

Also, what do those PIAA lights on the front do vs the lightforce vs the light bar?

Wow. What a pleasant guy.

If there's anything in these photos that would lead anyone to believe that this is a cheap, aluminum, bolt-together rack, I don't see it. The thing is welded together of 16 gauge steel and is so solid that it actually rings like a bell if you smack it with a mallet. It is extraordinarily well made. It will probably outlast the truck. Considering I had my FJZ80 for nineteen years, that's saying something.

The PIAA are fog lights. The Rigid light bar is brighter, with a wider coverage than the Lightforce. The Lightforce are very long throw.

the truck looks great. One question, with all of your awesome stuff to enhance offroad performance, why are the running boards still there?

Great argument points.

Thanks! That's a good question. Probably because I mostly use the truck in the mountains so sliders haven't been a priority. They're in the plan though. Prior to that I need to get the light bar and antenna wired up.

Looks very well made. I like how low profile it is too. The hoop around the sunroof is a cool touch.

Overall, Great looking truck, and thanks for showing us the rack.
I have a question about the motorized ham antenna mount you mentiond. I've never heard about or seen one. How does it work? Does the mast extend like the OEM antenna or does the full length flip up from a horizontal position? Do you have a web link where I can see a pic?
Thanks

Looks well made. I too like the sunroof opening. Doesn't look like lighting is a problem in your setup!! Truck looks great as well.

I am PMS'ing :flipoff2:

How's highway wind noise - looks like it could be a lot? Maybe the light bar acts as a fairing.

Nice setup! How about a night shot showing the output of those lights. Looks like you could light a stadium. Nice pics too btw.
