destins 1964 fj40 FST restore thread

Let me know your thoughts on winches, would love something old school and functional without having to mod my rig.

Can I give you a homework assignment sir? When I started working on my baby I actually didn't realize it was an FST and I used my hot glue gun to weld up all of the twistlock holes. In my defense, there were way too many of them, including all around the door jambs.

Could you count and measure the location of all of your twistlocks? I need to get some, and I think the addage of measure twice drill once is a good one to follow on my new paint job.

Would be MUCH appreciated.
