of course it may be as simple as lining up the holes, assuming they are correct on the tub :D

Will have to do that next week when i drop into the body shop :D

Too bad you can't get some stuff painted already...I mean you can put the glass back in windscreen with wipers, get the bib all dressed up with lights and bezel, hood, aprons, fenders...etc. Then it would make it that much easier to get it all back together once the tub is done.

yeah i know.

but that is the way they wanted to do it, all at once i guess :(

Hang in there Destin...the road is much, much longer for some of us working on our rigs...maybe you can take comfort in that

She work for Providence?

finishing up PA school for OHSU.
That last year they travel to dif places every 5 weeks for different hands on disciplines.

9 more months to go :D

Basically all i have to do is work, take care of the dog, and make sure the house does not start looking like a frat :D
All my spare time is messing with the cruiser :)

went by the body shop today to see if the heater fits up to the existing holes in the body.
Looks like they were drill for the after market heater, so i will have to make a template for the heater so they can drill the new holes etc and patch the old ones ;)

The bummer of it all is that they still have not started the tub.
Looks like they are finishing other jobs and insurance work :(

::sigh::

I feel your pain.

Mine hasn't moved since the last photos I posted. I keep sticking my head in there, and same story - "yeah... no worries we'll get back on to it soon... don't worry". Don't get me wrong they have been doing an outstanding job but waiting ain't easy.

The work you have been doing in between is still doing you credit for the whole resto.

Yes, enjoy it - even though the project may seem stagnant. It could be worse. You could be doing all of that body work, billions of man hours sanding and prepping, and then painting, more thousands of hours of wet sanding, then even more with assembling and so forth, just to finish it all and then decide it's not the cruiser/look you were aiming for anyway.

I can tell however in your case the wait will be totally worth it. Hang in there bro.

hehe thanks guys :D

Your right it could be worse, if i was doing the body work it would look like the surface of the moon on a bad day :D

Only thing that sucks for me is that i took time off and rented a shop based on the window they gave me...
And now they just keep pushing it out every week, kinda rough.

Ah well, taking another job possibly wednesday.
Which means I will not be able to touch it for about a month and a half or so, aside from minor s***.
</ end rant > hehe

I am just gonna do little things in the mean time.
I need to pick up the drive lines and exhaust and mount those etc.
