thanks guys. :)

Good idea on the decals.

Speaking of decals, do you guys remember what decal goes on the oil filter canister?

here are some pics with it mounted and hooked up, need to put a new filter in when they show up :D

If you wouldn't mind maybe Shane could reproduce the front label. When you get see if there were some instructions on the little door that on the driver's side. Looking at some of my old photos I noticed one of my looks like there is some instruction on it. Maybe we could get those two. I've got three I wouldn;t mind restoring.

I will take a look when i get it and post the pics of the decals :D

Did those come stock on my year rig?

wonder if my generator can handle that much output :D

Don't think they were ever stock on any year Land Cruiser. But they were a option going back to the FJ25s. Not sure how many were ever sold here in the US when the FJ40s were new. They have shown up in in old pictures on FJ40s in other countries. Now because they were a factory option people want them since they are a OEM part. The PTO winchs seem to have been a lot more popular. Not sure if they were being order later or my guess is they were being installed at the factory and sold here already installed.

I have it :)

more than i wanted to spend, but now i have something so i can drive it in the winter :)
Glad you won the auction!

Hold everything....

You still have that old looking temp sender....where is the shiny new one?? Or a polished old one. I expect better from you and your wallet.:p:p

Don't forget to have the body guys put a big scoop on the hood for that rare Ram-Air F135. You know it boasts 137 HP and three more lb/ft of torque. Whenever your body work returns and is installed I will miss the beautiful chassis look. Looking really nice.

Meanwhile I took the cam out of my F and at least it shows no wear.

good news about the cam :)

Man i cannot wait to start putting this together.

was hoping to have it ready by january to go out to bend for a month ( wife is on rotation at a hospital there )

the waiting game :D

congrats on the heater, I had my eye on it but wasn't super enthused being that my rigs will all stay local;) don't need much extra heat here.

your rig seems to be coming along nicely, keep up the good work:beer:

The view from the cafeteria at St. Charles is beautiful! Plus the food there is great!
