Delta VS rear bumper sneak peek

I saw your other post that at a certain point the discount effectively gets you more for your $. What is that tipping point? I'll mess around with the calculator but curious if its a ton of accessories or not as much as you'd think. I'm leaning towards getting in on the next batch but not sure how much stuff i'd need.

There isn’t an exact tipping point, there are a number of combos that get there. I’ll let you guys figure out what those are.

Trust me, I wish we could. It’s not that easy.

Then put "Bumper Pre-Order Deposit - $1000" ... it's super misleading the way you have it listed right now.

That spreadsheet to determine pricing is pretty miserable, it's not intuitive for someone to determine which accessories are compatible and the whole point of paying ++ $$ premium for a product like this is that all that nonsense is handled so there is no drama for the folks willing to fork over the cash.

Do it like Ben does, give rough accessory pricing in a matrix, have customers call you, and apply the discounts behind the scenes as you go... a 4% discount shouldn't make or break a sale.

Definitely actively working to make it a better, seamless, process. Please bear with us while we do that.

Just now seeing this for the first time. Your latch mechanism is next level. Top notch.

No hitch receiver = no thank you.

Yeah, could go that route, but I'm not a fan of that look. I'm in the market for a rear bumper/tire carrier but it has to look good (to me) and be functional. This is a nicely crafted piece, but one of my requirements is a hitch receiver.
ARB is the only one I can think of with a receiver that's tow rated.

Is 4x4labs not tow rated? My brother was going to make me a tube style to match my sliders and front bumper, but he's getting ready to sell his house and I have a feeling it will take forever to finish our project.

You'd need to contact them. Delta can speak to their bumper and what it's capable of with a pintle mount.

Just researched, yes 4x4lbs is tow rated

Can you provide a link to something that says that? Just curious, can’t find anything on their site about being rated.

It's in their bumper description.

And my apologies for de-railing this thread, discussing another brand, was not my intent.

Boom! It’s going together. I love this thing. Super high quality. A shoutout to Tandem Automotive in Ft Worth for handling the heavy lifting.

Well that is good to hear!
I thought so too. That's why I bought it. I looked at a lot of bumpers and felt yours was the best. It had things I had never contemplated. People talk about "back in the day", but I think the 80 is getting some serious attention right now from folks like you. Some fresh eyes/ideas. Front bumper looks great too, but I'm not willing to change out my current model right now.

Looks very impressive, glad to see it's finally available. Pricing is about where I though it would be. Considering how much engineering has gone into it, the price seems right (no complaints, it's not cheap, but I'll be getting what I'll be paying for which is a high quality bumper that looks great). Now I just need to work it into the budget.

A few questions:
1. What is the taller part in the bottom of photo below?
2. What is it used for?
3. What is that option called on the pricing matrix?

4. What finish options are available?
In the pic below, I see a matte textured finish as well as semi-gloss.
5. Where on the pricing matrix do I specify the finish?
6. How much is a cover for an unused swingout spindle?
