Naw, dawg....but can't say that consideration hasn't been given to Frenching the halo's headlights, rolling the pan, tucking the fenders, shaving about 6" off the roof line and sixteen switches that'll slam it to the ground.

that's not a rack, it's a laundry basket...
Short story.... In 1974 I bought my first hardtop VW and we were going on a road trip with no money. I made a roof rack out of two shopping carts and it worked great. I'd love to have one of those nice wood ones.

think they changed in 75...I know the 74 has the older style blower...you could float some epoxy over the cracks/ doesn't look too bad, fixes. up to you...
