What kind of shooting event it is, guys retreat type thing? If its for a guys event (men's retreat if you will) then it's ok IMHO. Although it is a bit weird to be on Easter Sunday! Now if this is just a good old shoot-'em up event (i.e. gun range) then yes it's really weird and I'd be curious to really know what there thinking.

Is there a commandment that I'm forgetting about that says "tho shall not shoot guns for fun"?
I'm a Christian and I own, run and fund a company that helps people in HN for Christ. I also own, shoot and enjoy firearms, plus we have security for our company in HN. Does this make me a bad Christian or is y'all's beef with the day they chose? I'll admit it's a bit weird, but makes sense from a marketing standpoint, do something the people love and tell them about Jesus while there doing it.

Flame me if you will, but I'm failing to see something apparently. ;)

Daniel, I was thinking of not taking the name of the Lord (or his likeness?) in vain, and keeping the sabbath day holy. Just trying to interject a little sarcastic humor; nothing personal at all. For the record, I am both a follower of the Savior and a shooter also.

I believe in personal freedoms and wish to protect people's rights, regardless of my personal opinions, but I just think its odd for a Christian institution to hold any type of sporting event on Easter Sunday.

There is a comedian named Rick Reynolds that has a spoken word gig "Only the Truth is Funny". He is so right...

I thought if I was going to create so much commentary I should post the full-size version with the updated text. Sorry that its so compressed but that is to reduce file size.

Remember, they DID NOT choose my version. Instead they went with a cross on a hill with a skyscape in the background. And there is an Easter Service to kick off the event--that must make it OK.
