Also had to fix my passenger seat gear again. I knew it was stripped because I over tightened the nut when I put them in last time. Lesson learned.

Still on my to do list in the next couple of week is to redo my battery cables and battery tray/tie downs and rebuild the power steering pump. Then rebuild the rear and front axles. Fun!

Got few items knocked out today. Power steering pump rebuild

Lot of the seals just broke a part and the oil seal was pretty much gone.
I extends the battery cables the correct way and ran a new ground
Also rearranged my dash buttons since I got my filler plate

There it is. All finished up

Finally figured out the squeak you have on the front driveline.... it's your stock 8-track radio.

You need a better radio, so you quit hearing all those noises on your rig!

OOps, that is cassette radio, not 8-track. FYI, when you tell your group of cub scouts that something is the size of a cassette tape, they have no idea of what you are talking about.

Hahaha. I like my stock radio.....Need to rebuild my front end before I upgrade the radio.....on list.

I just calibrated my ultragauge so I know exactly how fast im going and also get the accurate miles to empty etc. here is the step by step

Here we go

How to calibrate distance using a GPS and a calculator:

NOTE
This distance calibration method is based on using GPS speed.
GPS speed is most accurate when driving in a straight line at a constant speed.

Step 1: Add a speed gauge (e.g. on page 1 zone 1 of the Ultragauge)
MENU Gauge/Page Menu .. Select Gauge/Page .. Select Gauges Select Page 1 Gauges
Use UP & DOWN keys to Navigate to MPH or KPH
Press MENU. This will cause the cursor to blink.
Pressing UP or DOWN change the number to 1
Press MENU to assign the Gauge to that Page 1 Zone 1.
Leave the menu by selecting Back, etc
The Ultragauge should now show the MPH or KPH on page 1
Step 2: Grab your calculator and your GPS navigation device, get in your car and head for the motorway.
Step 3: While driving at a constant high speed for at least a few seconds note down the speed readings of the Ultragauge and the GPS.
The readings are probably different.
Step 4: Find a convenient place to stop, switch on your calculator and do the following calculation: GPS speed reading divided by Ultragauge speed reading.
Step 5: Adjust the "Distance cal." factor in the Ultragauge
Menu - Vehicle Setup - Calibration - Calibrate Distance
Note the distance value shown by Ultragauge and on the calculator multiply this by the factor found in step 4
Press MENU and press UP or DOWN to adjust the distance value to the calculated value.
Press MENU to store the updated distance value. The Ultragauge now shows the new Distance cal. value
Leave the menu by selecting Back, etc
Switch off your calculator :)
Step 6: Take another drive on the motorway and check if the GPS speed reading and the Ultragauge speed reading at constant speed are now the same.
Step 7: If necessary make fine adjustments to the distance calibration value until GPS speed and Ultragauge speed are identical.

You fancy OBDII guys! My "technical" method is, "yeah, I'm about 5-7 mph off at highway speeds." :meh:

*edit* but, to be clear, if I had the capability, I would totally do this calibration...

Did you buy the cable set from fourrunner ih8mud member ?
Nope local auto parts store. I made the positive and was able to modify an aftermarket negative cable.

Today with the help of Dwayne I finished plumbing and rewiring this little compressor. Aired up my 35's from 20 psi to 37psi in exactly 1:30. Not bad. Currently I'll run it as a portable unit.

I think that's the same model I've been looking to get eventually. 12V power, correct?

So for the last 3-4 months I've been reading and reading mud on different options for suspensions and different setups. My conclusion is depends on each individual rig/what you are going to do with it and what tire you want to run. Based on that I contacted woody and asked him about his set up because he runs icon (custom build and valved) and autocraft progressive slinky coils. When I'm ready to order this set up they will help me pick out the correct combo for my weight and what I'm planing on doing with my rig. They are also working on a long travel set up (most likely or should I say definitely out of my price range. Now for the basic set up with the current exchange rate it will be slightly higher then ome set up.

Here few pics on things that they are working on....
