So this was a pain today. I upgraded the trans cooler on the 7.3 to a 6.0. You can see the difference. The trans got up to 230 degrees a few times going from ouray to silverton. From Durango it got warm pretty quick since the climb was almost 4000 feet in 8 miles. This is as hard as the truck will ever have to work so I'm hoping this upgrade will get 'er done. I also dropped the pan and changed the filter.

Well back to the LX. Here is my punch list for the weekend of the 19th...
Replace rear axle seals and bearings
Replace all the fluids (both diffs/tcase/trans and oil)
I was running little warm in Colorado due to smaller fan that comes with the supercharger kit/Chinese fan clutch. After I read and re read several topics on mud here is the plan to deal with that
Modified blue fan clutch
93-94 toyota v6 fan part 1636165020
Later radiator swap to 93-94 landcruiser( these are 3 core and have trans cooling lines)
All of these should get me back to where I was before around 190-194 under load doing 75

Now in Colorado from last year the supercharger made a huge difference going up and down mountains and passes. One time I just got on it and ran up the last 500 yards of cinnamon pass about 40 and the cruiser wanted more. Love it. The OME set up has gotten softer from last year and did great.

All done. Oil change. Both diffs and tc. New pads on the back new trans fluid. Fan clutch and fan in. New seals and bearings on the rear. Temps are better but not yet where I want to be. So the next step will be 93-94 3 core radiator. The 93-94 fan is the same diameter as the sc fan but without the ring. I'm not sure about the fan blades.

So this was my temp 90% of the way home after the radiator swap. Pretty happy. That was with ac on and 85 degrees outside. The highest it got was 194. The 93-94 radiator is about 30 pounds heavier. Bolts right in.

part number on that radiator?

What a great time in the ozarks. Rig ran great. Had a minor set back when my pulley put a hole in my tranny line. But 1 hour later I was back on the road

Jeez almost a year since I posted to this thing. But most you have been on all my adventures. Getting lx ready for fall crawl step one @kc_chevota welded my spindle on my spare tire carrier that due to my rookieness was missing. Oil change and rear pinion angle and drive shaft maintenance next.

Mileage 205,770. Flushed the power steering changed the engine oil, filter and greased the drive shafts. Getting ready for cooler weather and camping......

I have done a few upgrades in 2020
New exhaust via @kc_chevota
4:88 gears and new lines via @cjmoon
Fox Shocks (at 18 psi I can fly 😂 and the rig does not beat me up) I was thinking about changing the springs but the tire pressure made all the difference thanks for the help @2fpower
Upgraded the head lights with led bulbs
And a bunch little stuff such as a new door handle. There is still a small amount i have to finish but it will have to be 2021

Oil Change 209,205 greased fittings. Ready for good bye party for FOo
