Thanks dude .. !

For the Discovery cup holder (they do rock, I have had 2 discos with them and plan on putting one in my new 80) goto -- EE -- Expedition Exchange Incorporated select products from the upper menu and then search for "cup holder".

Thanks .. !

that ain't a cup holder.... THIS is a cup holder!

Hey it rocks ! where to find it . ?

LOL

Even with the most spill proof cupholders known to man, I still won't trust my kids with open top cups

It's bottled water with screwtop caps for everyone or nuthin at all ;)

Notice that I have the pop-top bottles from Deja-blue ;)

97 FZJ80 did a good job of covering most of the cup holder options I have seen here at mud. I think it is worthy of FAQ. Of course it might be there already but I didn't see it when I did a quick glance.

I didn't buy my vehicle because of its cup holders or lack thereof but it always seems a little awkward when I am giving someone a lift and they can't find a spot for their drink. I know they are thinking I talk way too much about my ride for it not to have cup holders. I should just tell them to stop worrying about such trivial things as cup holders and tell them that real off-road vehicles come with grab handles.

Anyways, I'm going to add a few cup holders as outlined by this thread and avoid the discussion.

drink much?

nicely done added to the FAQ in the bling section.

I never knew that cupholders were that important to anyone. Legs make a nice cupholder. Just FYI.

27 replies on cup holders, there is an addictive disease going around..I think some of us need professional counseling...:flipoff2: oth, good ideas of what is available...

Sorry, no pics of them in my LX or 80 but I have 2 of these in each vehicle. One is between the PS seat and center console and the other one is between the middle row arm rests when in the down position (works great and is secure). You can get them on ebay for $15+ a pop or go down to your local Wally World and usually pick 'em up for like $6 (assuming they still carry them). Available in gray, black, or tan AFAIK.

Cheap, easy, and they do a decent job of holding drinks etc. Front one is not as stable as the one between the middle row arm rests but works well enough. Works even better is you add some thickness to the base (towell or something) to the base part that slides between the seat and the console. The one between the middle seat arm rests is PERFECT for the kids and it is nice and secure.

Just cheap plastic, holds a couple cups of whatever, plus a little space for a cell phone or whatever.

Here is another thread with even more ideas on cup holders :D

I just returned that one to the store an hour ago, it just didn't fit quite right, between the console and passenger seat, for me. Plus, a small coffee traveler cup wouldn't fit w/out tipping over. It probably would work well between the rear armrests, but I don't need a cupholder back there yet.

Yes. It was fun to have my lovely wife hold the drink between her legs - which was a cause of my drinking ;) Now that we have two kids, it was no longer "fun" to have anyone hold the drink between their legs, which was also a cause of my drinking :D

Anyone have an extra Tan Discovery cupholder? Looking to purchase just one.

You can purchase a single LR Disco cupholder from one of the online LR parts dealers. I'll look for my receipt when i get home tonight.
