Spotted a old 45LV with a canoe on top at Long Valley Cafe around 8:30 this morning. Guessing it was JacK A.?

My wife sent this to me today. She's driving an '04 LC, so not sure if he was waving for that reason or because she was taking his picture while driving down the road... :) Flames make an 80 look like it's going twice as fast as it really is. Not poking fun, I've just never seen an 80 with flames before and thought it was worth posting.

The right moment..
This is fun.

Mudding anyone?

Alluvial Fans ... and why they exist. First time I've seen good footage where the entire fan is in deluge. Pretty cool.

Yep, that was me. A group of us meet at the cafe and headed to Blue Ridge for the weekend. Good times.

I was by Blue Ridge a couple weeks ago and it didnt look like enough water to launch. From atop it looked all marsh? Still fish;)

BTW, huge congrats Jack on the FourWheeler magazine articles the last two months, the Bloody Basin trip and the the feature article on your LV! They never seems to give Land Cruisers a lot of props so it was a pleasant surprise.

My wife read a article about the drought around Flagstaff. Someone commented on how low Blue Ridge was. But the reason it's so low is it was drained to work on the boat ramp.

Last time I was there I did watch someone launch a boat. Wife was down at the water with three large pups while the husband was trying to back down. After a few attempts they finally got the boat in the water. Pups were having a great time in the water not sure how much fun it was having three large wet dogs in their small boat. Right as you head down the ramp there is one handicap spot for vehicle & trailer. Other than that with the lake so low it's a hike from the parking lot to the water. Because of my mom I carry one of those handicap tags you hang off the rear view mirror.:hmm:

Thanks man. It helps when you know the right people too.....lol

After yesterday, any deviation off the Lake Mary road leaves plenty of mud to hate on. Nothing to alleviate the drought, but even Mormon lake and Lower LM had some liquids in them. (Dropped the kid at NUA today).
