Yeah pray for no snow of any measure. If it snows decent, they have been known to close the parkway... I think we are gonna warm back up to more seasonable temps this next week, as long as any more snow holds off we'll be good.

There we go with the negativity again. Just leave that to me.
I'm with you Friday. Taking the day off, so plenty of time for me to wander up. Email me some coordinates, so I can use my GPS.
Rick,
I'll be ATL for BSA training all next week and will be done before lunch on Friday. You want to ride up together? I'm guessing I'll be done around 10am and ready to hit the road shortly after.
Alright guys,
Here is a little more info on what road you are looking for if you haven't been to the area before:
the road is Black Balsam Knob road (FS road 816) and is located roughly at Mile Marker 420 on the BRP Google Maps
should be able to type in your address and get directions to the parking lot at the Black Balsam hiking trail head. The 4wd drive road conitnues on NE past the parking lot. Just keep heading down the trail until you see some cruisers![]()
ha-ha, I just found this from the older thread...same basic info.
