Woohoo! Thank you for the support and I hope you enjoy the tighter shift lever action. :) Anything helps on the column shift. hahaha
Let us know if that sticker has a permanent crease in it. We will happily send another if it does.

A project a long time coming is finally done!
Chrome is not everyone's jam and we worked hard to offer an alternative to give people more choice.
Same lamps as our signature chrome units, each one is thoroughly gone through to ensure their best performance for the long adventures ahead!
Each lamp is carefully deconstructed, blasted and coated in a high quality black powder coat.
We hope you love them as much as we do!

Just an update on our horn contact plate project. We hit a snag with our forming methods and... broke the mold trying to bend too thick of material. We have a new order of thinner metal on the way and hopefully will have success. The plates have no wear forces on them so thinner is just fine. Its only job is to conduct electricity. These plates are modeled after the factory plates which have some bent/molded edges so we are trying to stay true to that. :)

Love getting customer photos! One of the OEM map light switches we sell installed in a 1973 FJ40. Interesting thing about the 1973 FJ40 is that the hole in the dash for the map light switch was only a partial circle with a flat spot. My early 40 has a circular hole for the map light switch. Thankfully all they had to do was file a flat spot into the switch threads and it was golden. :D

1978 brochure is live on the site now . Fresh off the scanner.

This West German brochure doesn't seem to indicate any model year. Other than the small print indicator at the bottom of the last page, and the model information, I'd agree it is a 78, but interesting in the US, they were a dated and completely different brochure as shown on my thread, HERE.

Yeah, some of the foreign brochures don't even say a year at all on them! You just have to know by the look of the truck. hahaha. Case in point was a recent 80 series brochure from the UK we scanned. Zero indication on model year or year it was printed. :meh:

My 1974 Euro owner's manual doesn't have a year either and shows a RHD vehicle on the cover.
Inside some drawings/pictures of instruments are clearly from a 1973 truck so I don't think those thing were anything specific. I would guess the 'E' is for Export.

Later years had a translated version in French at some point, though.

The 'E' may mean English. The letter seems to designate area or language. 'A' is used for US/Canada, perhaps North America. There is also 'S' for Spanish and 'F' for French. Some letters don't appear to be meaningful, German manuals with 'W' or 'M', and French/English manual as 'D'. The letter is used as a suffix to the publication number on the back of manual.

Interesting! That all tracks well, but that D,W and M do seem like a mystery.

The little KTC wrench clips are back in stock if anyone needs a great little organizer. Stack it with 3x 10-12 wrenches and 3x 14-17 wrenches and you will be good to go. Always have a buffer.
For those that do not know, KTC (Kyoto Tool Co.) has been a supplier of OE tools for Toyota since the 50s/60s.
