I'd be open to reproduction Mickey Mouse wing nuts for the battery. While you're at it, make copies of the Yazaki terminals and the two earlier styles of battery clamps (one with the post holes on the sides and the other across the middle but open and made mainly from round bar stock).

Looking into reproduction options. I'll report back. Those Yazaki terminals would be super cool. :)

Any interest in a reproduction of the beef cake mouse ear wing nuts found on the early 40s? They would work on any 40 I believe.

Is-that the one for the air box?

Those wing nuts are still available if I understand correctly which one they are, they were missing on mine and I bought them from Mr. T.

But the old style clamp would be very nice for a perfectly correct look!

Those Yazaki terminals will be trickier I feel like but always worth exploring!

have you considered actually reproducing the original 1976 FJ40 round bottle bracket period correct ?

heck , the FJ55 76-77 bracket is so similar , yet a upside down look ...

pulling those 2 off at one time would actually be a super efficient process also ....

your making a RH fender and a LH fender simultaneous procedure steps

this would be bad to the bone in stainless too ...... :D

i actually restored both at one time and created a duel offerings classified ad years ago ,,,

i found the link below ,

here are your KEYs to the TEq Kingdom .......

make both of these happen .......that would be a goodies goodness day for sure ..

FJ55 here in SILVER Zinc.....

Nice work on restoring those! They look great.

Those brackets have a lot of different angles and kinda complicated forms. Reproducing that in a true fashion would be a real endeavor!

The bottle bracket we are going to make a run of was born out of a need for the early 40s (pre 1972) to have an easy bolt on option that would also blend in well. It's a pretty simple design and keeps the cost down.

That being said, we are going to be playing with some new metal forming techniques soon. ;)
