Don't forget to make your reservation at the campground and tell them your with Cruise Moab as they are reserving a big chunk for us.

Also, you have to be a TLCA member as TLCA is covering the insurance for us.

Si. I just registered with TLCA after reading your earlier post and as soon as I get confirmation from dad, I'll reserve a spot.

Looking forward to hanging out and smoking cigars:D

And wheelin'

1 week into registration and 112 of the 175 slots are already taken.

Better get crackin :D

Got my Slickrock confirmation. It did take a little over 48 hours though. I'll be in #29 in a green motorhome.

he should track someone on the fjc factory tour like robbie/powder pig and ask. they ran everything last year

i would say fins and things for a start. a stock fjc did that run with me last year with no issues. i know a stock fjc did kane creek too without body damage but i'm guessing that was hard on the undercarriage.

I will be leading Moab Rim on Thursday, again this year. I am amazed to see these massive Yota's making this run! Well, a 40 looks big to the Gnewt, but the 80's... Truly impressive!

And Cruise Moab is the Only way to go! I used to do EJS with Zukes from all over the US (they have Zukfari at the same time as EJS), but Moab is INSANE during EJS week! Here's the Gnewt on Moab Rim!

I'm starting to see alot of you guys that are planning on getting there really early. Will I run into any logistical issues if I don't show up until early wednesday evening? My plans are somewhat flexible but I was thinking about taking my time on the way home and seeing some sights. Right now I'm planning on being back to work on wednesday.

Does anybody know or have firsthand experience with bringing a dog? I'd really love to bring her but not if it's going to be "against the rules". I've seen a few dogs in the pics on trails but also heard there's places where you can't take them. Any insight would be appreciated.

Here I'm spotting for her as she tries to pull as far up the rock as she can for a poser shot;)

Less than 50 slots left out of 175. That was as fast as I have ever seen it.

Here is a link to our gallery with some additional pics and video's If you click on wipe out hill, you will see cruiserdan last year on the big obstacle. I was right behind him on that run.

I am thinking some Crown Royal Limited (Can't get it in the US) and some Cigars to show your cruiser Karma would do it.

Registration is Wednesday, so it would be better to arrive in the afternoon so you could get your vehicle inspected and registration completed. However, we do offer an early morning registration on Thursday for latecomers.

Dogs are OK on most trails. Lots of people bring dogs.

There are is one trail where dogs are completely prohibited (even in your vehicle), Elephant Hill, in Canyonlands Nat'l Park.

Sand Flats Rec. Area, where three trails are run -- Fins & Things, Hells Revenge, and Porcupine Rim -- says it is OK:

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, SFRA is "dog friendly". You just need to keep your dog under physical or verbal control at all times. Dogs should not chase or harass wildlife. A good place to take your dog for a walk is to hike one of the four-wheel drive roads such as the Fins and Things Trail. The Slickrock Bike Trail is not recommended for dogs. Most dogs are not used to running on sandstone, which acts like sand paper on their paws. Owners also need to remember to carry water for their pooch. If you are riding the bike trail and would like to leave your dog behind, one option is to find a vacant campsite, with shade, and of course leave your dog tied up for the few hours you are on the trail. Never leave your dog in a parked car as temperatures rise to dangerously high levels quickly in the desert. There are also kennels in Moab.

If you want to leave your dog at the campground, you'll need to check with Slick Rock Campground.

Is that stuff somewhere above Crown Royal Special Reserve, or between regular Crown, and the Reserve?

Well, bring it, and we can judge for ourselves!
