Shiot I dont want to miss this...im sure my 40 will be done by then. Heres my prob...having never wheeled the 40..ever, I have no idea of its capabilites...it has 35's shackle reversal and no lockers...Im not familiar with trail ratings (the number system) but I dont want to miss registration...I also dont want to take any trails that have a decent chance at body damage sincce I just got a new tub and paint....so given that anybody have any reccomendations? Im gonna register for a TLCA membership right now..but in the mean time, anyone recommmend specific trails...I also dont wanna sign up for boring stuff though. I live close enough I dont want to miss out. Can I sign up for it and get a camp ground spot where everyone else is and then pick my trails once I have some guidence?

Thanks

Eli

Anything that is rated a 3 or 4 you could likely do.

If you have never been, Fins and Things, Gold Bar Rim, Elephant Hill, wipe-out hill, chicken cornes, porcupine rim are all easily done by a stock rig with little chance of body damage. These are the 3+ and lower trails

Could also probably do Kane Creek, Hells Revenge, Spike, Posion Spider and a few others, but that's more in the 4 catagory.

There are slots left and the trails are offered all 3 days (Except E Hill not on Friday and is full on Thursday)

ok so i did some research

The ones I want for sure:
Hells Revenge
Poision Spider

The ones I need help Choosing from:
Kane Creek
Gold Bar Rim
Golden Spike
Metal Masher

Do I need 3 or 4 trails?

If you do Golden Spike, it runs most of Poison Spider and Gold Bar.

Im signed up for:

Thursday : Hells Revenge
Friday : Moab Rim
Saturday : Golden Spike

Can't wait.

I am paid and can't wait to go...guess it is time to drop the tranny and get it rebuilt...gonna take forever to get there in first:) :)

As of yesterday, after cleaning up some duplicate entries, we have over 130 registered so far

Is anybody that is going driving through Durango Colo. (or close) on their way to Moab?

I thought it would be cool to cruise down to Moab with a few other Cruisers

Eli

Eli, I live in Pagosa Springs and i am going to CM. I will be heading out on tuesday, may 1st. I am doing the overnite run on wednesday. I will be towing my junk, but we can still hook up if you want. I am staying @ slickrock campground in # 26. Also have some parts you might be interested in. I'll pm you my # so you can call me and get a plan together. Mike
