Romer,

Spanish Trail had nice facilities, but the tent sites were horrible. No shade what so ever. And dealing with the superintendant wasn't very easy.
Slick Rock sucks, but at least it has shade and the Holiday Inn Express next door.

Alvaro

The main reason is so that we are not spread across 3 campgrounds. More fun in the evenings. Can't wait to test what you guys will be cooking. We will be there on Sunday ahaed of the weds start

Ok B - a quick count that is probably off a few here or there

63 40 series
43 80 or LX450's
12 4runners
11 60 series
8 Toyota Trucks
4 FJ Cruisers
3 55's
2 100 series
plus some custom's
1 Sidekick

and coberly's truck (45 or 80?)

Again thats off a few here or there based on one quick pass through the list. The orders of magnitude should be right.

I expect we will see that FJ Cruiser number going way up this year.

Gary's junk deserves a class all its own. :D

If you had heard the owners and workers talking about how great the Jeep people were for the easter safari, and how rude the toyota people were you would be shocked. I walked in on them in the office, and it wasn't nice. We lucked out last year because when I registered for a sight, I asked for a RV site. They asked me what model my recreational vehicle was. I replied that my recreational vehicle is a landcruiser, and I got an RV site. Funny thing too, she confirmed my reservation with the "Landrover" group. I don't know about slick rock because I've never camped there, but anything is better than supporting such morons, by camping at their facility. GOOD RIDDENS!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in ! Don't miss out on this event, its a blast. Going to stay @ portal also, I will be really tired of anything that looks like snow by then!

Going to stay @ portal also, !

Then you will be missing out on a big part of the CM experiance. The cottonwood does not flow everyyear and the owners have tiold us they are taking steps to reduce it if it does.

Will my LX450 with 285 Revos and OME 2.5" heavy lift be enuf to safely negotiate these trails? I have Slee TC skidplate and tire on the Kaymar rear bumper.

I don't want any sheetmetal carnage at all :princess:

Probably. Depends on how good a driver you are, which optional obstacles you do, how well you listen to your spotter, and how good your spotter is.
