Although you will not be able to register for the event for a month, we wanted you to know where the campsite is. We will be back at Slickrock Campground http://www.slickrockcampground.com/

We have an area of campsites we have asked them to reserve for us so that we do not get intermingled with families. We expect to overflow our reserved area.

Call them and make your reservation and tell them your with Cruise Moab

Also, if you have been to Moab before and feel confident in leading trails, please visit our forum. Trail leaders will get priority on trail assignments. Please only volunteer if you feel capable and have experience leading trails with groups of 20 people. See the following link http://www.risingsun4x4club.org/forum2/showthread.php?t=2300

The reserved part of the campsite is shown in the below graphic.

Regsitration and inspection is on Weds (5/2?) and the event is Thur-Saturday during the first week of May. Most people go weds-sunday at the campsite.

What would it cost to rent the WHOLE campground for a week?

I know that Spanish Trails didn't work out, but why Slick Rock. You guys are a glutton for punishment aren't you? I'm there but under protest:)

We were split up among 4 campgrounds last year. We thought being all in one place was more important than the cotton. The owner is going to see if there is something he can do about the cotton. They have fixed the bathrooms and the other issues they had.
Also, unlike Spanish Trails:mad: , they were willing to work with us.

This is the event that I am dying to go to...I have never been there and I'm finally going to make the trip up there with my 80 and dad's too..When can you start signing up? Is the limit for vehicles/cruisers?

we have a limit based on our BLM permit of 175 vehicles. Regsitration will open In January.

You guys can count me in..I will be one of the first to sign up in Jan...Thanks Romer..

Of course-I'll be there, but Slickrock SUCKS!!! What are you thinking? Slickrock is bad JUJU. What happened to BLM land, group camp out in the middle of nowhere? This is a great event, but the venue is terrible.

BTW-you can light that cotton with a match, no oxy-acetylene required.

Look forward to seeing you again Andy.

Ken,
Was there a final count by vehicle type from CM06?
-B-

You were there. Didn't you count them:D

I don't know B have to ask.

He was busy gettin' painted and you were busy not gettin' painted...;)

Watch my wife.

Do not get too tipsy and drop your guard.

keep your feet with you at all times.

I brought her presents last year. She won't press me.

Romer,

Spanish Trail had nice facilities, but the tent sites were horrible. No shade what so ever. And dealing with the superintendant wasn't very easy.
Slick Rock sucks, but at least it has shade and the Holiday Inn Express next door.
