Crank Pulley Holding tool....question

I used one bolt and a chain first, the bolt snapped.

then I built this, it worked swimmingly

Pigeon side is for the 80. Rail road crossing is for the 100 series. Booger welding before I went from the harbor freight buzz box to the Hobart. I’m still a hack but my welds are getting better.

Your a man after my own heart. Below is a photo of the 4 foot long tool, with a 2 piece handle that i made to hold the pinion flang of a diesel truck that i modified to hold my Land Cruiser crank balancer. Along side of it is my 6 foot long, 1200 foot pound torque wrench also from my diesel repair days. Those two tools makes easy work of removing, and replacing any crank pulley bolt.

No more 14mm Deep socket flex plate bolt trick for me. One of them was loose, it looks like it was about to tear apart. I'll be replacing all six flexplate bolts.
