Ok now this is interesting.
I wonder how a FJ60 dash will look. I bought a cap fro mine and have not installed it yet. I hate it as I think it make the top look cheap. This may be a great option.

I also wonder if you used the SEM Adhesion Promoter and then the SEM paint (Grey in my case) if it would work after filling in the dash.
I may now just try and see. But I am a month from doing that.

I capped mine and used Velcro. I'm very happy and it took 10 mins. Around $100 shipped.

Wonder how that stuff is to clean..? I like being able to wipe down the dash.

you can't wipe down a flocked dash...might be able to vacuum it a bit.

was it glued down with an even, complete layer of glue?

those plastic dash caps are horrible.
the pictures make them look good.
i bought one, it didn't even make it completely out of the box for me to figure out it wasn't for me.

My dash cap from Cruiser Corps has worked out really well. I use it more of a protective cap for the original dash, which isn't cracked. With no adhesive, velcro or anything, it sits right on top of the dash and kind of snaps into place and looks great.

Flocked dashes are awesome, just keep a lint roller to keep it clean.

Surprised more people don't get dashes wrapped, I suppose it's a little too luxurious for a utilitarian vehicle.

guys this is really great. i had my old gti's dash flocked. cut glar and was supper easy to clean. i would just take shop air, air compressor and just blow it off. or you could also use a leaf blower, the leaf blower works great for getting dog hair out the back of the wagon. my 60 dash i had wrapped this time in a syn, swede with red stitching. i'll try and take a pic of it when i get home.
