You have turned a corner my friend ... But I agree that the kits are extremely complete and OE or better quality ...Folks:
Going forward, I will be offering first and foremost Terrain Tamer kits for the following applications:
< snip >
The quality of these kits is now, in my honest opinion, as good if not better than the OEM Toyota parts which are not in kit form and are **significantly** more expensive than the equal quality Terrain Tamer iterations.
The premium to be paid for what I consider normal wear and tear consumables is not necessary by going through Toyota and paying an exorbitant amount of money for these parts.
I am going to fully recommend TT kits going forward as the best option when available.
That's a big step for someone like me, as all of you know my devotion and belief in OEM Japanese Toyota parts.
That said, I will still be offering OEM Toyota parts for the above applications if people so desire (say, folks doing restorations).
But I think that once people try out the TT kits and parts they too will be sold on the quality of the parts being offered by TT, operating as Can-Am Cruisers here in North America: @orangefj45 and @wardharris
And to put my money where my mouth is, I will be rebuilding my front axles this weekend on my BJ70 using the Terrain Tamer kits that I acquired.

Will be contacting you soon to get some heading my way! Thanks for being a parts guy we can trust!

If only you were a Cummins dealer as well you could be a one stop shop.
Folks:
Going forward, I will be offering first and foremost Terrain Tamer kits for the following applications:
1. All knuckle/front axle/front bearing rebuild kits.... This will be for all iteration Land Cruisers with solid front axles.
2. All semi-floater applications for the rear axle.
3. All manual transmission rebuild/reseal kits (3 speed, H41/42F and H55F transmissions).
4. All transfer case rebuild/reseal kits (early solid case, split cases--early and late--and HF1/2A applications).
The quality of these kits is now, in my honest opinion, as good if not better than the OEM Toyota parts which are not in kit form and are **significantly** more expensive than the equal quality Terrain Tamer iterations.

Do all of the TT kits utilize Koyo bearings?
That's what I look for first in an aftermarket kit, followed by price. I equate Koyo with OEM for axle/knuckle/t-case bearings... because they pretty much are, the only difference being that it didn't come out of a Toyota box. The paper gaskets I'm usually not too worried about.
I bring this up only to say that I don't think this conflicts with your devotion or beliefs. Your conscience should be clear...not that you needed my stamp of approval or anything!

You wouldn't even need to remember part numbers for me. My local Cummins dealer can't look up anything for me because I don't have the number off the data plate on the engine so I have to supply all my part numbers. I think they are just lazy or Cummins has a horrible computer system. Now here's and idea for diversification.
Let me work on that Cimarron. I know both you and Morgan would be quite happy.![]()
